Paper Topic

I am planning on writing my paper on the characters of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. I think that the characters in the book could represent something else instead of just a character Lewis Corroll came up with for no particular reason. The characters that I will probably be writing about are: Alice, Queen of Hearts, the Hatter, Cheshire-Cat, and any others that i can find. The research question I think I need would be somewhere alond the lines of: What do the characters in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland symbolize.

The Alchemist

Trends that I am beginning to see in the story "The Alchemist" are that Santiago is to trusting and is too easily distracted. He trusts people before he really gets to know them and lets them into his life. Whenever he sets off to complete his future he gets distracted by another thing and starts to think about things he should do.
